What was the highlight of Rainbow Hotel Yongsan
Good
It’s literally next to Namyeong station. Receptionist is supportive even though they don’t speak fluent English. Gave 3 bottles of water in the room. That’s a big surprise.
It was not specified on Booking.com that cash only. I did not expect a hotel not taking credit card in the world today and was not prepared. I had to stay for only one night and move to other place for the next few days. It’d be very helpful if this could be stated in front page.

What was the highlight of Rainbow Hotel Yongsan
Pleasant
Good location, bus stops and metro stations are nearby in walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Access to convinient stores. The staff was quite helpful and friendly.
We cannot use mastercard due to POS machine error. In the first room, the A/C was not working properly. It was too cold and lack air swing. Then, they assign us the room next-door and the A/C was better, but there were a lot of mosquito which affected our sleep badly.

What was the highlight of Rainbow Hotel Yongsan
Okay!
I was pleased with the room even though it was dark/grey. I believe they should renovate and brighten the colour . Good location by taking the bus or walking distance "if we like walking" The Seoul station is about 7mn by taxi or 20mn by walking. They don't speak English that much but with body language, words by words or using app translation we will get there.
The stairs to my room was full of mixed clean and dirty laundry. Water bottles... Bring cash to pay your invoice as their ATM / machine wasn't working. On the booking.com stated that they have airport bus shuttle; well they don't provide this service so please remove it. I was bit shocked to see on booking.com that the rate of my room was £53 and yet I paid £65 so where was the matching price?!

not great, not terrible
Close to the subway stations (2 different ones). It was relatively clean (but not as clean as I would expect)
They charge extra 10% for card payment. Room was small. There was a big construction going on on the other side of the street (very noisy in the mornings). The lightning in the room and bathroom (in general it was dark in the hotel) was very poor.
